Terms & condition

Construction & Design Agreement

By approving a design proposal or initiating a project with Pools Los Angeles, customers agree to these Terms and Conditions. Our construction and design services are operated under professional standards to ensure structural integrity and compliance with Los Angeles building codes.

Pools Los Angeles provides comprehensive New Pool Construction, Full Pool Reconstruction, and Architectural Design. The specific scope—including excavation, steel reinforcement, shotcrete, and equipment installation—will be outlined in your individualized Project Contract.

We handle the submission of engineering plans to local Los Angeles authorities. Project timelines are subject to municipal approval speeds and mandatory safety inspections required by California building law.

Customers must provide clear access for heavy machinery and excavation equipment. Pools Los Angeles is not responsible for damage to underground utilities or structures not clearly marked or disclosed by the owner prior to excavation.

Project Responsibilities

For reconstruction projects, customers must disclose known structural issues or previous ground instability. Unexpected soil conditions (such as rock or excessive groundwater) may require additional engineering and adjustment to the project cost.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that adequate electrical, gas, and water supplies are available at the site to support new pool equipment, heaters, and automated systems.

Construction areas are hazardous. Customers, children, and pets must remain away from the work zone during active construction. Pools Los Angeles will implement standard safety fencing, but property security remains the owner's responsibility.

Payments & Project Milestones

Construction projects follow a milestone-based payment schedule (e.g., Deposit, Excavation, Gunite/Shotcrete, Tile, and Completion). Work will pause if scheduled payments are not received within the agreed timeframe.

Any modifications to the original design or material selection after construction has begun must be documented via a written Change Order. This may result in additional costs and timeline extensions.

If a project is cancelled after permits are filed or materials are ordered, the customer is responsible for all non-refundable administrative fees, permit costs, and restock charges.

Warranty & Legal Terms

Pools Los Angeles provides a limited structural warranty on new pool shells. This warranty does not cover damage caused by earthquakes, land movement, or improper chemical maintenance by the owner.

Pool equipment (pumps, heaters, filters) is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Cosmetic variations in natural stone or plaster finishes are normal and not considered structural defects.

All custom 3D designs, blueprints, and architectural renderings created by Pools Los Angeles remain our intellectual property until the final project payment is completed.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes related to construction contracts will be resolved through mandatory arbitration as per California contractor regulations.
